Getting started
Move the map to place the rain circle, choose Area and Strength, then tap Start. Terrain loading needs an internet connection and can take a little time.
Why did the rain pause?
Switching apps pauses Rain Bucket. Return and press Play to continue from where you stopped. A storm also pauses after seven simulated days; press Play to add another seven days.
What does New do?
New clears the current water and prepares another storm around your current map view.
What does the amber boundary mean?
It marks the loaded terrain. Water outside this area is not simulated.
Can I use this to predict flooding at my house?
Rain Bucket is an illustrative terrain simulation, not a street-level flood forecast or safety tool.
